Price Schedule: (all prices in Pounds Sterling (GB£) and excluding VAT)
Standalone PC: This is the simplest of the configurations and comprises PCs each running StrataBugs independently. Each PC uses its own database (based on Microsoft Access) and there is consequently no data sharing (other than by data transfer using diskettes) although it would be possible to share printing/plotting devices over a network. Each system is supplied with a hardware security device or "dongle" (either USB or parallel port) which permits use on the PC to which it is connected. There is a base system and two optional additional applications which can be purchased separately. Discounts are available when purchasing multiple options.
PC network: It is possible to network a number of PC's sharing the same database. This configuration is available with fixed licences controlled by a hardware security device (dongle), or with floating licences (using, optionally, an Oracle database) where access is controlled by a software key.
Unix/PC network: This configuration utilises either X-terminals and/or PCs as workstations and allows common database access, and uses an Oracle database. No additional charge is made if the precise configuration of the Unix/PC network is changed. All applications are included in the cost of the licence.

List prices include one concept keyboard per licence, but do not include any costs of hardware/software necessary for networking and/or communications. Licences purchased subsequent to initial sale would be charged at the multiple user price. It would be possible to change the licences from a PC or PC only network system to a Unix/PC network system but this would incur a charge equal to the difference in the prevailing prices.
Annual maintenance: Annual maintenance on all platforms includes full telephone/email support, maintenance revisions and, where deemed necessary, on-site visits (excluding expenses) and all functional improvements in line with product development during the contract year. For all licences the first 90 days maintenance is included in the purchase price.
