Logos

You can use your own company logo to display in chart headers. The logo file must be in RGB JPEG format, saved as a *.jpg file. The resolution of the file is not critical because StrataBugs will scale the file appropriately, but make sure there is not a large margin of white space around the logo itself.

Adding a logo file

The file can be located by StrataBugs in various ways. The easiest option is to put the file, renamed to "logo.jpg" in the StrataBugs folder i.e. the folder that contains the StrataBugs file jsbugs-3.0.x.jar file. However, if you have installed StrataBugs into Program Files and this is not writeable, you have the following optional locations:

Windows:

Named logo.jpg in the ProgramData\StrataData folder. The folder can be reached using %PROGRAMDATA% and is often hidden by default. Create a folder StrataData if it does not exist, and put the logo.jpg file in there.

MacOS:

From your home directory, go to ./Library/Application Support/StrataData and put logo.jpg in there.

From an environment variable:

On both platforms you can use the environment variable JSBUGS30_LOGO to point to a logo file. The variable points to the file itself, so it can have any name you choose.

Using the logo on charts:

On the Chart Properties dialog, select the Header tab and the Logo option.
