Generate Comments from Events dialog

Use this dialog to create a list of biostratigraphic comments from selected well events. Comments will be added to the currently selected version; to create comments in a different version, you must first copy or move the events to another version.

If a comment for the discipline and analyst already exists at a sample, it will be added to. You will be informed of how many comments were created and updated.

You must choose a default discipline and analyst, because these are required for biostratigraphic comments but not for events. Depending on which option you choose, your selections can be used for all the generated comments, or just for the comments generated from events where the discipline and analyst is not set.

You can choose which other fields from the event are used to make up the comment's text.
