Add/Edit Log Header dialogs
Use this dialog to edit the header details for one type of log. This may be either for the default settings, or to alter the display of one trace in the Wireline Log Panel of a chart.
You cannot change the Abbreviation. Create a new log header if you need to use a different abbreviation.
You can edit the Title and Log units.
The scaling affects traces of this type when plotted. For linear scales, the minimum value is the left-hand side of the panel, but the value is allowed to be larger than the maximum value (the right hand side of the panel). For logarithmic scales, the minimum value must be smaller and cannot be zero.
The style also affects plotted traces. You will only see Fill colour if you set the Trace style to Filled left or Filled right. To change the Line colour and Background colour press the ellipsis (...) buttons to the right of these fields and make a choice from the colour chooser. If you do select a filled trace style, you must select a fill colour; otherwise the fill colour is not essential.
The symbol choice is only applicable for trace styles "line and symbols" and "symbols".
The Wrap trace option allows sections of the trace which are outside the scale limits to wrap around to the other side of the panel. Traces are wrapped around once only; larger values are plotted at the panel boundary.
If you plot the trace with a solid or dashed pen style, any wrapped sections will be plotted in a dotted lines. If you plot using the dotted style, the wrapped sections will be dashed.
